He Will Guide You Into All Victory

He Will Guide You into All Victory

“Howbeit when He, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).

All truth is another way of saying all victory. The Holy Spirit will never guide you into defeat! He will always guide you into victory, success, accomplishment, abundant life, soundness, happiness, and security–both in the spirit and in the natural. He’ll tell you what decisions to make in business so you won’t go broke every other month.

He’ll tell you who not to do business with so you can have peace of mind when you go home to kiss your wife and hug the kids. He’ll tell you whether your $20,000 investment is going to profit you or whether you’re going to lose it all. He’ll tell you what house to buy, when to buy it, and how much to pay! When the Holy Spirit is helping you, you’ll get a good deal, no matter what the real estate agents have to say about it!

The Holy Spirit will show you what to do in every circumstance of life. He will even show you where to have a nice vacation! Sometimes He will say, “No, don’t go there this year; go here instead.” That happened to me. I was going to visit some friends and take a little vacation, and the Holy Spirit said, “No, don’t go there at this time; it’s not right. Go some place else.” He didn’t tell me where to go. He just told me go somewhere else. I had a great vacation that year, too. I really enjoyed it. If I had disobeyed the Holy Spirit, I probably would have ended up in the middle of some difficulty. I didn’t ask the Holy Spirit why He wanted me to go somewhere else, because I really didn’t want to know. I just obeyed Him and had a good time.

Why The Devil Does Not Want You To Speak In Tongues

Called To Be A Leader

So, I was listening to Joyce Meyer talk about God’s purpose for our lives. One of the things she tries to do is get the pressure off of us by teach us to trust the Lord to be able to get the information to us concerning what He wants us to do in a way we can understand. Then she started sharing how she experimented with finding her call.

She said that she tried several different roles and positions but found that the Lord had called her to be a leader. She tried being a ‘service’ member of the body of Christ, but found out quickly she was called to lead, not follow.

When I heard her say that, I was startled and immediatly asked the Lord if a person could say that. It seemed so… so… ‘unreligious.’ We are expected to say we are called to be the service worker and when someone says they are NOT called to that position, it shocks us. We hear things like.. “let the Lord exault you,” which is true, but don’t we believe it is important to know what we are NOT called to do?

So, basically what I am thinking is that if you are called to be a leader, then prepare to be that leader, and to be a GREAT one. Don’t get all bashful about it and wait until gold dust falls all over your head. Don’t be ashamed to say that you are called to lead. Don’t be afraid to reject jobs in the body of Christ that are not what you are called to do. Just make sure you are doing your best to understand the Lord’s call and then be as faithful as you can. That way, you’ll be ready when He needs you.

Faith That Is Seen by Andrew Wommack

Faith That Is Seen
Andrew Wommack

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.’
Mark 2:5

Faith can be seen. Just as Jesus explained to Nicodemus in John 3:8, faith is like the wind. Faith itself is invisible, but saving faith is always accompanied by corresponding actions which can be seen (Jas. 2:17-26).

It was not only the faith of the paralytic that Jesus saw, but also that of his four friends (Mk. 2:3). This demonstrates the effect our intercession in faith can have upon others. Jesus saw their faith. **However, although our faith released on behalf of others is powerful, it is not a substitute for their faith. It is simply a help. The person who is to receive the miracle must have some degree of faith, also. **
Even Jesus could not produce healing in those who would not believe (Mk. 6:5-6). In this instance, it is evident that the paralytic himself also had faith because he was not resistant to the four who brought him; and he got up and obeyed Jesus’ command (v. 7) without having to be helped.
