Sneaky Pride

Prideful thoughts:

When I first started working in photography, I enjoyed it very much. Then over time, I began to see others were already taking many of the same pictures, and many of those pictures were done much better than mine. Slowly I began to back off and even had to deal with discouragement.

I understand this better now as being a form of selfishness and pride. Sneaky, bitter pride.

What I should be saying in my heart is 'the more the merrier.' The more beautiful
pictures taken and shared, the more glory the Lord receives. If our Lord wants every single person to take the same picture on the same day, then who am I to argue
with His desires?

If He wants me to write about the same topics as others, then so be it! And so on...

There is no competition between members of the Body, there's only infiltration into the world.
