Work is always
something that the church
doesn't understand ... that the jewish
community seems to grow up with
understanding that work is actually worship


Oftentimes at church we we
look forward to coming together on
sunday but the impact that we
have is not just through witnessing that
we do at the office, it's through
the excellence
the creativity
the uniqueness
of our labor and our devotion to work well and to
work hard, but it's not just the
quality of the work, it's the fact that
what we do from our heart- we do as unto
the lord.

Now think about this fire always falls
on sacrifice, and so if i'm a person who
works in an office somewhere, if i'm a
lawyer... or i'm a dental
hygienist

(a person who cleans
your teeth... thank you jesus
that there are some and i'm not one
thank you thank you... lol)

what happens when that person takes what
they do seriously as an offering unto
the lord, their actual labor draws and
attracts the presence of god into that
work environment...because he is attracted to the
offering that's given... it's an offering of
the heart...it's manifested in labor it
creates presence-based cultures in work
so the first person filled with
the holy spirit in the old testament or
in the bible is this guy bezalel and it was for the purpose of
labor. Now what i want you to look at
again is in verse three, i have filled them with the
spirit of god in wisdom. I would like to
highlight that one word wisdom,
because everything that follows is wisdom, actually you can find in the
book of proverbs as a manifestation of wisdom.
Wisdom was there on the day
of creation assisting in the creative
expression of the earth
It's in proverbs
chapter 8 ...wisdom is measurable in
creativity
integrity
excellence
those three things
you'll see the silver thread of
excellence, creativity, and integrity
all through the book of proverbs
revealing the subject i'm mentioning
this for a reason because right now the world is aching for
solutions for stuff that they don't have.

I believe in the bold preaching of
the gospel. I believe in the
sharing of our faith with people,
praying for people in public and private.
I believe in all of that stuff
but eventually we have to be a people
that come to the table with
solutions, answers, something that actually
benefits the people ... not us
something that helps the business itself,
helps the community itself, and helps the political leader
themselves come to a place of greater effectiveness in their
leadership and it's people of God
that can hear from the lord to function in
this gift called wisdom.
i personally think it's one of
the most missing elements in culture is
divine wisdom.

Wisdom is divine reasoning
Wisdom is literally seeing
things from god's perspective and it's not
just like.. you know it's not just having
uh good solutions for problems it's
different than that, it's if you were to
look at this wall aver here, i'm assuming it's
sheetrock over there...
you can see on the outside of
the wall, you see sheetrock but behind
that we know that there's probably
wood studs that the sheetrock is nailed to.
The point is wisdom sees into the
internal structure of something that's
not obvious...
in other words wisdom is
prophetic in nature, It looks into the structure of
something, that's why wisdom is able to
bring long-term solutions to
problems.

Wisdom. when it speaks into a
family that's broken, it doesn't just
see the arguing that takes place, it
sees disease, sees into the structure of how this
thing started, what is broken that
started in childhood that really needs to
be healed and redeemed.


Are you getting the point?
Wisdom is
multifaceted. It is the
multicolored coat of joseph that is on the
church and it's
in ephesians chapter 3 verse
10 where he talks about this
multi-faceted wisdom of god
that rests upon him. It's on us. It's that
favor coat.
